We have a highly professional and friendly team dedicated to assisting our clients with the signature and execution of French powers of attorney.
Nathalie Trousset is a qualified French notaire and a practising notary public in England and Wales and leads our team. Nathalie qualified in 2003 as a notary public and is well regarded by notaires throughout France.
French powers of attorney are drafted by French-speaking notaires, established in France, Monaco, Belgium, Switzerland or Luxemburg, when dealing with
The power of attorney enables a notaire to sign and execute formal documents, such as a transfer of property, on behalf of clients who are not able to attend in person the signature meeting.
Our notary service clients are either individuals or members of SCIs (Société Civile Immobilière) who are required to execute a French power of attorney.

Each power of attorney is different. They can be complex and sometimes over a hundred pages long including exhibits.
We offer a very fast, reliable and efficient service. We usually receive the French power of attorney from the notaire and then agree a fee and time estimate with our clients setting out the costs of disbursements.
Once we have received the power of attorney, we arrange a convenient time to meet and explain in full to our clients the contents of the documentation. We aim to make the process as convenient as possible and can meet at either our central London office or our client’s home or office.
As a French speaker and qualified French notaire, Nathalie Trousset is very well placed to understand the documentation and to seek clarification when necessary from the drafter. We do our utmost to make sure that our clients understand fully the contents of the French power of attorney.
Following the meeting, we will normally obtain the apostille from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and then send the executed power of attorney with the apostille to the French notaire to enable them to complete the relevant transaction.
Our specialised notarial services are second to none. Please contact us either using firstname.lastname@example.org or call +44 (0)207 734 7282 if you have any questions about our powers of attorney (procuration) services.
